Calumet Stabbing Suspect Arraigned

The man accused of stabbing a woman in Calumet last Monday evening was arraigned late last week in Houghton County District Court.

41-year-old Richard Charles Baron faces charges of felonious assault and assault with a deadly weapon.

He’s accused of attacking a woman who police say was in a domestic relationship with him.

Bail was set at $2,000 bond, or 10 percent cash.

Baron will face a probable cause hearing January 3rd.
