Calumet Varsity Softball Receives Grant From Shopko Foundation

Calumet High School is the recipient of a $250 grant from the Shopko Foundation for their varsity softball program.

These funds will support the purchase of new equipment for the team.

Calumet Varsity Softball, now its 4th season, is a self-funded program that is supported solely by player dues, fundraising and donations.

The Shopko Foundation supports accredited schools and 501(c)3 organizations.

Grants are awarded throughout the year to support programs which further the Foundation’s purpose of promoting the health and education of Shopko teammates and customers.
