Canal View-Houghton County has again been honored as one of the best nursing homes in the United States.
U.S. News and World Report awarded Canal View its highest possible rating for both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. Only 21 percent of the nation’s 15,000 nursing homes achieved the highest ranking.
Canal View is the only Copper Country facility to receive a top rating for short-term care. Aspirus Ontonagon also received a top ranking for its long-term care facility.
