CCCAC to Feature Lift Bridge-Based Art

The Copper Country Community Arts Center has issued a call for artwork based on the iconic Houghton-Hancock Bridge. 

The Lift Bridge will be honored during Bridgefest this year as a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark. In recognition, the Arts Center plans a community exhibition of art inspired by the bridge. 

Two-dimensional and three-dimensional works are welcome, in any style. Artists may submit as many as three works. Submissions are due June 3rd. 

The exhibition will take place at the Art Center’s Kerridge Gallery June 7th through 18th. 

There is no fee to participate. Works may be offered for sale during the exhibition, with the standard Arts Center commission.
