CCISD Using Virtual Reality For New Learning Experience

The Copper Country Intermediate School District will be using Virtual Reality technology to enhance the learning experience for its students.

A demonstration of the recently purchased VR system was given to the CCISD board at their regular meeting this week.

Board members were invited to give it a try, and everyone that tried was fascinated by the experience.

This new technology will be used to have staff and administration experience this type of full immersion, so they can begin to understand the impact this will have on future teaching, learning, curriculum and student engagement.

Demonstrations will continue throughout the school year.
