Country and blues music legend Lee Roy Parnell will perform tomorrow evening at the Calumet Theatre.
Parnell was one of the most successful country hitmakers of the early ‘90s, with such hits as “What Kind of Fool Do You Think I Am,” “On the Road,” “Tender Moment,” and “Heart’s Desire.” He also wrote several hit songs for other artists.
He then turned his attention to his heart’s desire, and has become recognized as one of the best blues slide guitar players in the world.
He has a soft spot in that heart for historic venues such as the Calumet Theatre…
