COVID Town Hall to Address Physical Activity

The next Michigan Tech virtual COVID-19 Community Town Hall takes place this evening.

This week’s topic is “The Importance of Staying Physically Active during the COVID-19 Pandemic.” Guests will include sports medicine physician Dr. Keri Denay, UP Health System Portage Health and Fitness Manager Angela Luskin, and MTU alum Steve Short, who is Physical Therapist and Sports Medicine Director for the Denver Nuggets.

Virtual Covid-19 Town Halls are being held each Thursday this fall, with a goal of sharing scientifically-grounded information about the pandemic.

Tonight’s one-hour session will begin at 7:00. You can join the online meeting here, or listen to the audio on 97.7 The Wolf.

You can follow the ongoing series on its Facebook page.
