Dial Help Providing Crisis Intervention Training

Dial Help is offering a Crisis Intervention Training program for parents, professionals, and community members.

The training will be held at the Portage Lake District Library on Saturday from 10am to 2pm.

Dial Help’s Crisis Unit Manager Mike Gaunt and Mobile Response Team Specialist Mary Gaddis will train participants how to help friends and loved ones who are dealing with stress, personal crisis, mental illness, or other issues.

This event is recommended for parents, youth, college students, professionals, and anyone who is interested in learning how to improve communication when people are in distress.

Training is free and includes refreshments, take-home materials, and a certificate of completion.
