EGLE To Host Information Sessions And Public Hearings On Line 5

Michigan’s Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy will be holding information sessions and public hearings on the Line 5 Tunnel application.

The new tunnel will replace a portion of the current tunnel, which transports crude oil and natural gas under the Straits of Mackinac.

Two public information sessions  will take place on September 8th at 6pm and September 15th at 1pm.

Two additional public information sessions are scheduled for September 10th at 1pm and September 21st at 6pm.

More sessions are scheduled through October 8th.
