Gasoline Prices Jump, but Not Dramatically

Gasoline prices have risen in the week since a major Saudi oil facility was damaged by a drone attack, but not as much as some had feared.

AAA Michigan’s survey puts the average price for the Marquette region at $2.68 per gallon. That’s six cents higher than a week ago, two cents less than a month ago, and 32 cents less than a year ago. Houghton County’s average is higher, at $2.78. Keweenaw County is the highest in the state, at $2.99. Baraga County is lower, at $2.58.
