A Hancock native will mark a milestone today that few people accomplish.
Julia Carlson Dennis will celebrate her 110th birthday. Dennis owned her own accounting business for many years, and continued to serve a few clients until age 90.
Fellow members of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church tell us she cleared her own snow until she turned 100, and continued to live in her home until she reached 105, when she moved to an assisted living facility.
She still attends church regularly, and was the guest of honor at last Sunday’s coffee fellowship after the service.
