Construction work is scheduled to begin Monday on US-41/M-28 in western Marquette County.

Crews will resurface a 3.5-mile stretch from Van Riper State Park most of the way to the M-95 intersection at Koski Corner. The project will cost $1 million, and is expected to be completed by late June.

Single-lane alternating traffic will be maintained.
