Houghton Council to Consider Transit ADA Policy Tonight

The agenda for tonight’s Houghton City Council meeting appears to be a light one.

The council will be asked to approve an updated Americans with Disabilities Act policy for Houghton Transit. The policy includes a complaint process that citizens can use if they feel the policy has been violated.

The council is also expected to approve the latest round of bills from contractors working on the water and sewer system rebuild along College Avenue. Most of that money is being provided through federal grants.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 5:30 at the City Center.
