Houghton County COVID-19 Cases Continue To Rise

The Western Upper Peninsula has 34 new COVID-19 cases since last Thursday, the bulk of those from Houghton County.

This from the Western Upper Peninsula Health Department.

Houghton County has 26 new cases, along with six new probable cases and one recovery.

Baraga County has one new positive, two new probable cases and three recoveries.

Gogebic County seems to have slowed down with two new positives, two new probable cases and nine recoveries.

Keweenaw County has two new cases and Ontonagon County reports three new cases and two recoveries.

Residents are reminded to continue frequent hand washing, masking up and social distancing.
