KBIC Fall Cleanup Begins Today

The KBIC fall cleanup begins today. The L’Anse District will be covered this week, and the Baraga District next week. Items to be picked up should be left at the curb by 7:00 am. There is no need to register. Only Tribal households will be served. Businesses will not be included. 

Tribal members may also deliver trash to the KBIC Solid Waste Facility in the Ojibwa Industrial Park this week and next. Dropoff times are Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to noon. You should bring your Tribal ID. 

Items that can not be accepted include hazardous waste, explosives, radioactive waste, paint, antifreeze, coolants, batteries, tires, yard waste, televisions, computer equipment, fluorescent bulbs, oil and filters, pesticides, propane tanks, solvents, concrete, and common household trash.
