A L’Anse woman is dead after a vehicle accident in Baraga Township.
The accident happened Wednesday morning around 7:30am on the Mission Road just south of US-41.
21-year-old Kori Beth LaFernier was killed while driving a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The Baraga County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene but have not released any further information on the accident…which remains under investigation.
Assisting at the scene was the Michigan State Police, Baraga Police, Keweenaw Bay Tribal Police, L’Anse Fire Department, Baraga Fire Department, and Bay Ambulance.
