Live Raptor Program At Michigan Tech

The Chocolay Raptor Center will present a live bird raptor program sponsored by the Copper Country Audubon Society Tuesday, October 24, 2017. The program will start at 7:00pm in Room G-002 in Michigan Tech University’s Forestry Building, Hesterberg Hall.

Live, rescued, non-releasable “ambassador raptors” on the glove will accompany the program, providing a unique and awe-inspiring experience.

The Chocolay Raptor Center was founded in 2012 as a center dedicated to the rescue of injured or sick raptors, and the education of the public about raptor and environmental issues.

The public is invited and there is no charge.
