Michigan’s Department of Transportation has released the latest numbers on deaths and seriously injured motorists on Michigan roadways.
During the past week, 12 motorists died on Michigan roads, for a year to date total of 704.
During the same week, 154 motorists were seriously injured, for a year to date total of 3,454.
Compared to this same time last year, there are 56 more fatalities and 377 fewer seriously injured motorists.
Statistics were provided by the Michigan State Police.
