Michigan Launches Futures For Frontliners Program

Thanks to the CARES Act, Michigan has launched Futures for Frontliners, the first of its kind in the nation, which will allow essential, frontline COVID-19 workers a tuition free path to community college.

This from the Governor’s press conference earlier today.

Chief Health Officer Dr. Joneigh Khaldun commented on contact tracing.

Governor Whitmer was asked about health risks to high school athletes being required to wear masks while physically exerting themselves, and she turned the question over to Dr. Khaldun.
