Michigan Tech Hosts COVID-19 Town Hall

Michigan Tech hosted their 3rd of 12 scheduled COVID-19 Town Hall Meetings last night.

The topic was “How COVID-19 Impacts the Human Body.”

Dr. Tara Robinette, from UP Health System Portage.

“It gets in through the respiratory system and then it affects the bodies cells. The specifics is that it attaches to these two receptors, and that’s how it gets in. This receptor is most abundant meaning there’s the most of it in the lungs, the air sacs in the lungs. “

You can catch the 4th Town Hall next Thursday at 7pm on 97-7 The Wolf.
