Michigan Tech Introduces Plans For Fall Semester

Yesterday at their virtual town hall meeting, Michigan Tech outlined their three step plan to return to face to face instruction, in time for the Fall Semester.

Five high ranking Michigan Tech officials held the meeting.

The three step plan will be implemented, in line with state mandates for health and safety protocols.

Step One will focus on a limited return of employees to campus, once the “Stay Home Stay Safe” Executive Order is lifted.

Step Two will allow more employees, the library and some retail businesses to open, and looks to start between June 22nd and August 16th.

Step Three will see the campus return to near normal activities, and hopefully start on August 17th.

President Richard Koubeck said he has great confidence in Michigan Tech staff, faculty and students, to get through this challenging time.
