A Michigan Tech Team has won 1st place in the SAE Clean Snowmobile Challenge.
Tech’s Enterprise Team took 1st place in the Spark Ignition Internal Combustion Engine Category last weekend at the Keweenaw Research Center.
The team kept winning, also taking awards for the Best Lab Emissions, Quietest Snowmobile, Most Practical Winner and they also won the Most Sportsmanlike Award, which is one of the most important prizes in the competition, and also won the team $1,000.
Teams from as far away as New York and Idaho, as well as schools from Canada also took part in the competition.
