New Director of Marketing and Communications Joins MTEC SmartZone

HOUGHTON, MI –April –, 2019 – MTEC SmartZone (SmartZone) today announced that Chelsea Goodreau has joined its team as Director of Marketing and Communications. Chelsea has a degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing and brings hands on experience within the non-profit sector to the SmartZone.

Ms. Goodreau, an Upper Peninsula native from L’Anse, Michigan, joins the SmartZone team at an exciting time to continue the company’s success providing support to high-tech local businesses and working with the local, regional and state economic development organizations to build and expand a prosperous economy in the Keweenaw.

“I am excited to be part of the SmartZone team,” said Ms. Goodreau. “I think there is a great framework in place with the SmartZone, and I’m excited for the opportunity to build what has already been done. I was born and raised in the area, so to be a part of an organization that strives to make our community better is a privilege!”
