Officers Set By Range Lions

The new officers for the Range Lions Club are in place for the upcoming year.

The slate of officers was approved at the Club’s regular monthly meeting on Monday.

The club also approved seven donations to local organizations including $500 to the Helmuth M. Stenhilb Memorial Scholarship Fund to be given to a local Jeffers High School senior who will be attending college this fall.

Another $300 was donated to 31 Backpacks, who provide food on weekends and during holidays for local children, and $200 to the Leader Dog for the Blind.

The Range Lions collect used prescription eye glasses and has two drop off sites in Adams Township–the Miner’s State Bank in South Range and the Painesdale post office.
