Ontonagon County Bridge Construction Begins Today

Construction work will begin today on two highway bridges in Ontonagon County.

The bridges on M-64 over Halfway Creek and the Floodwood River will be rebuilt. Both are located between Ontonagon and Silver City.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane, controlled by temporary stoplights.

Work should be completed by late October.
