Ottawa National Forest Looking For Students To Help This Summer

The Ottawa National Forest in Ironwood, is looking for applicants for this year’s Youth Conservation Corp.

Helping provide gainful employment, developing an appreciation for the nation’s natural environment and completing much needed work on public lands are the core tenets of the program.

Applicants must be between 15-18, citizens of the US and a resident of the county of the Ottawa National Forest.

Students wishing to take part in the program, must apply through their school guidance counselor, prior to March 20th.

The program runs from June 8th through August 1st.
