Presentation On The Women’s Suffrage Movement Comes to Houghton

If you’d like to learn more on the Women’s Suffrage movement, and how Michigan played a part in it, then you can come out to the Carnegie Museum of the Keweenaw, where riseUp and the League of Women Voters of the Copper Country present “Petticoat Patriots: How Michigan Women Won the Vote.”

The opening reception is Thursday, March 5th from 6:30p-8pm.

The reception is free, and refreshments will be served.

The Friends of Fashion and Singing Suffragists, will also be on hand.

The Presentation, is on loan from Michigan Women Forward, and will be here through March 28th.
