Public Forum For Baraga Area Schools Sinking Fund Proposal

The Baraga Area School District will hold a forum in the school library on Thursday at 6pm to discuss the Sinking Fund millage proposal that will be on the November 6th ballot.

The proposal includes an increase of 3 mills for 9 years for the construction or repair of school buildings, for school security improvements, and for the acquisition or upgrading of technology.

If approved, the millage would raise over $202,000.

A second forum will be held at 6:00 pm at the school library on Tuesday, October 30th.
