Range Lions Help Clean Highway

Range Lions held their regular monthly meeting on Monday at the Range Lounge in South Range.

Volunteers picked up litter along M-26 from South Range to Painesdale as part of Phase 1 of Michigan State Highways “Adopt a Highway Project”. A total of 29 bags of litter was collected.

The Lions also made plans for their annual Fourth of July promotion. Tickets can be purchased in advance from any Range Lions club member.

Range Lions and District Governor Mike Kobasic recognized Lion Mary Lou Wisti with a Lions secretary 100% Award for the Lions year 2018-2019.

Donations were made by the Range Lions to the South Range Fire Department canister fund of $500 and $50 to the Keweenaw Family Resource Center.
