Representative Greg Markkanen Points Out Missed Opportunities In Governor Whitmer’s Executive Order Extension

Representative Greg Markkanen from Michigan’s 110th District, was not happy with the Governor’s extension of the Stay Home Stay Safe executive order.

Markkanen, supports social distancing to slow the spread of the virus, but believes the Governor missed an opportunity to allow workers who can do their jobs safely, back to work to support their families.

Markkanen pointed out too many workers are missing out, because they’ve been deemed “non-essential.”

Markkanen also said seasonal workers such as landscapers and small construction crews could both do their jobs, while practicing social distancing.
