Residents Urged To Support Recreation Millage

John Haeussler of the Hancock Recreation Committee stressed to the city council the importance of residents passing the Recreation Millage on November 8th.

The 0.8 mills for five years would provide roughly $85,000 annually for capital recreation improvements.

Haeussler said those could include improvements at the city’s campground, beach and city parks, among many others.

If passed, the average property owner would pay about $26 a year.
