Ride Against Abuse Event Today

The third annual Ride Against Abuse Community Awareness Event for the Barbara Kettle Gundlach Shelter Home will begin at the Calumet Americinn at 6pm this evening.

The event will start with a ceremony to remember victims and celebrate survivors.

Participants will ride their motorcycles from Calumet along US-41 through Hancock and Houghton to create an awareness of domestic violence.

The ride will end at the parking lot at Ray Kestner Waterfront Park in Houghton.

Those not riding are invited to line the streets of Hancock and Houghton to show support for those that are riding against abuse.
