Missing Baraga County Man Found

UPDATE: Zephaniah Luke Phillips was located in Copper Harbor Thursday evening.

The Baraga County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a missing man. Officials say 21-year-old Zephaniah Luke Phillips was last seen on Monday night around 10:15, heading south on the Skanee Road toward L’Anse, after leaving The Finns. Phillips also goes by the name Jeff.

Phillips is about 5′ 10″ tall, thin, with red hair and some facial hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a red flannel shirt over a white t-shirt, and muck boots.

Deputies say he is driving a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 with Michigan license plate DWB 5924. It is dark red, but has a black right front fender. The truck is lifted, with oversized tires. “CUMMINS” is written across the front windshield in white letters. It may display an American flag and a “Trump” flag.

If you have any information on Phillips’ whereabouts, call the Baraga County Sheriff Department at 524-6177. We’ve posted pictures of Phillips and his truck in our story at KeweenawReport.com.
