It’s Soup-A-Bowl This Weekend

For Finlandia University’s International School of Art & Design this weekend’s big event isn’t taking place at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, it’s taking place right in the Jutila Center as students, alumni, community members and employees are getting together for the annual Soup-A-Bowl.

This annual event takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in room 323 of the Jutila Center. It includes all-you-can-eat soup lunch, an art auction and the highlight of the event is that all participants will get to keep a hand-made bowl. The bowls are made by FinnU students and faculty.

This event is open to anyone in the community, and the price is $10 per person. Tickets will be available at the door. All proceeds from the event will benefit students in the Young Women’s Caucus for Art as they look to attend the national Women’s Caucus for Art conference.
