There’s no doubt the Copper Country is also Packer Country, with thousands of dedicated fans of the Green Bay Packers.
Though not everyone is a fan, everyone can agree that Dial Help provides an essential service to local residents.
The upcoming Packer Tailgate Tour will benefit Dial Help when it makes its stop in Houghton on April 6th.
The city of Houghton is encouraging fans and non-fans alike to support the event because the proceeds will support Dial Help.
The city says there are still some 1,400 general admission tickets left for $10, which will get you into the party but does not provide access to the coveted autograph session and ticket holders will have to pay for their own food and drink.
There are about 250 $30 tickets left which includes food and drinks and access to the autograph session.
Really a fan? The $500 VIP ticket includes access to the VIP party before the public event begins and an opportunity to speak to the players and CEO one-on one.
There are only 60 VIP tickets remaining.
Tickets can be purchased from Michigan Tech’s Student Development Center or on-line at www.tickets.mtu.edu/
Houghton City Manager Eric Waara says there are also sponsorship opportunities available for local businesses and organizations.
