Teaching Businesses How To Go Green

An event focused on educating the local business community about programs that are available for energy efficiency and energy conservation will be held in Houghton.

Sustainable & Efficient Business Strategies will take place June 5th at the Great Lakes Research Center, from 6-8pm.

Organizers say this event is designed to help local businesses understand how energy efficiency and energy conservation can help add to your bottom line.

Participants will learn why energy efficiency is a smart investment for your business, what steps to take to cut energy waste, and how to get positive recognition for your business’s efforts.

This event is brought to you through a partnership between the Keweenaw Young Professionals, the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce, the Keweenaw Climate Community, and Michigan Interfaith Power & Light.

The event is free and you can find more information on their Facebook event page.
