The City Of Houghton Takes Further Steps To Combat COVID-19

The City of Houghton is taking further steps to slow the spread of COVID-19 and keep the community safe.

The March 25th City Council Meeting will take place as planned, although only essential items will be discussed.

Non-essential items will be tabled until a later date.

They will only hold one meeting in April, which is on April 22nd at 5:30pm.

There will be no March Planning Commission Meeting on the 24th.

They will next meet on April 28th.

Trash will still be collected on the normal day, and the Department of Public Works, will continue with water, sewer and street services.
