The Keweenaw Young Professionals will host a Coast Guard Vessel Tour on September 9th.
The vessel will be docked across from Roy’s Bakery in Houghton and the tour is open to the public.
The Coast Guard will have one of their 47-foot vessels available to give tours, and Coast Guard members will be on hand to answer your questions.
This family-friendly event will be followed up with a cookout at the waterfront.
KYP will provide hot dogs, buns, condiments, chips and root beer floats.
If you want anything else, feel free to bring it (no alcohol please).
The cost is free to KYP members and a $5 donation is suggested per family to help cover expenses.
In the event of inclement weather, they will try to reschedule the event so stay tuned!
