Traffic alert: Intermittent closures of Portage Lake Lift Bridge set for Wednesday

July 14, 2017 – Maintenance work on the Portage Lake Lift Bridge is scheduled for early Wednesday morning, July 19, which will result in several brief (up to 20 minutes) closures of the northbound and southbound lanes, along with the sidewalks on both sides of the bridge. The closures are expected to occur between midnight and 4 a.m. The closures will likely result in delays for motorists.
