Update On Roadway Fatalities and Injuries

Michigan’s Department of Transportation has released the latest numbers for fatalities and seriously injured motorists.

This past week, 12 people died on Michigan roads, for a year to date total of 247.

84 people were seriously injured while on Michigan roads for a year to date total of  1,206.

This same time last year, Michigan had 52 more fatalities, and 410 more seriously injured motorists.

Statistics were provided by the Michigan State Police.
