UPPCO Suspends Shut Offs Through April 5th

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, and subsequent closures, the Upper Peninsula Power Company has suspended shut offs for non-payment through April 5th, for income eligible customers.

Customers who are enrolled in UPPCO’s Senior Winter Protection program, have had their end dates automatically extended through May 3rd.

Customers impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak, including a sudden loss of income, medical condition or if you’re a senior citizen, are encouraged to call UPPCO at 906-449-2013 to determine eligibility for payment assistance programs.

The Upper Peninsula Power Company provides power to over 55,000 resident’s in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
