Upper Peninsula Environmental Coalition Hosts Energy Livestream

You’re invited to join the Upper Peninsula’s Environmental Coalition’s livestream about power in the U.P. Thursday, at 7pm.

The Superintendent of Escanaba’s Electric Utility, Mike Furmanski, will explain how power in the U.P. is generated, where it comes from and how cost is determined.

Renewable energy sources will also be discussed.

An added bonus, will be a discussion on Line 5, Horst Schmidt and Evan Zimmerman will break down the current legal situation between the state and Canadian Oil Company Enbridge.
