UPSET Detectives Arrest Suspected Meth Dealer

A suspected crystal meth dealer is under arrest in Iron County.

On Wednesday, detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at a residence on Oswald Street in the village of Crystal Falls.

Over 40 grams of crystal meth as well as evidence of drug distribution was seized during the search.

The street value of the drugs seized is estimated to be nearly $10,000.

A 37 year old Crystal Falls man was arrested and lodged at the Ion County Jail on charges related to the distribution of crystal meth.

He is currently being held on a $25,000 cash bond.

The investigation remains ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
