US41/M38 Paving in Baraga County Begins Today

Look for some traffic delays over the next few weeks in Baraga County, as a highway paving project begins today.

The Michigan Department of Transportation will mill and resurface US-41 from the Falls River in L’Anse to the Beartown Road/Jurmu Road intersection north of Baraga.

M-38 will also be resurfaced from US-41 west to the Ojibwa Casino in Baraga.

Watch for single-lane closures with one alternating lane of traffic. The project is expected to be completed by October 13th.
