Wisconsin Men Charged in Iron River Drug Death

Two Wisconsin men have been charged in connection with a 2017 heroin overdose death in Iron River.

29-year-old Davin Veir Washington and 36-year-old Kenneth M. Greer were recently arraigned in District Court in Iron County.

Both are charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance Causing Death, which could bring a life prison term. Each also faces several other drug manufacturing and delivery charges.

Washington is from Milwaukee. He was already being held in Wisconsin on other drug charges, and has been transferred to the Iron County jail.

Greer is serving a seven-to-30 year sentence on drug charges that were prosecuted in Dickinson County in 2017. He will remain in the Marquette Branch Prison until his trial.
