A downstate woman was injured Friday night in a snowmobile crash in Marquette County.
Sheriff’s deputies were called out around 8:30 to Trail 5 in Champion Township. They found that Traci Scull of Buchanan had been traveling north when she veered off the trail and hit a tree. She was thrown off her machine, and suffered a possible broken hip.
Scull was taken to UP Health System-Marquette for treatment. Deputies say neither speed nor alcohol were factors in the crash.
