The race to finish road projects before winter sets in continues with work beginning today on US-41 near Chassell.
The Michigan Department of Transportation will be completing a $215,000 project to remove and replace a flood-damaged culvert near the Baraga/Houghton county line.
The work will require closing a lane. Traffic will be maintained in alternating directions under a temporary traffic signal.
