Marasco Returns to the Copper Country

HOUGHTON, MI – Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center (UGL) welcomes Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner – Certified (ARNP-C), Rebbekkah Marasco, to their team of providers at the Houghton Family Health Center.  Marasco brings years of experience as a registered nurse and as an ARNP-C to the clinic.  She is board certified through the American College of Nurse Practitioners with additional certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Previously, Marasco has worked for Behavioral Care Solutions, Aspirus Keweenaw – Fast Care, Finlandia University and Rural Health Association –Ewen Medical Center in the Upper Peninsula. After spending the past few years working in Florida as Family Nurse Practitioner and continuing her education, Marasco is pleased to back in the Upper Peninsula.

“My family is originally from the Houghton area”, said Marasco.  “I am looking forward to benefiting people in the community and working with them to help improve their health.”

Marasco received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN/Nursing) from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, and MSN/Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate /Nursing from Frontier University in Hyden, KY.  She continued her medical education additional course at the University of Science and Technology Montserrat in St. Petersburg/Tampa, FL.
