MI SOS to Visit Houghton

The Copper Country is expecting a special guest today. Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson will be visiting the Houghton branch this morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Secretary Johnson will make two other visits in the U.P., one in L’Anse at 10:15 a.m. and the other in Iron River at 2:15 p.m. The visits are part of her efforts to improve the customer service across the Secretary of State’s 131 branch offices and to seek input and suggestions from staff and constituents. She will also speak on new policies that have contributed to the historic increases in the number of people joining Michigan’s Organ Donor Registry.
