The deadline for candidates in the Miss Houghton County Fair Queen pageant has been extended to this Thursday July 31st. Candidates must be girls between the ages of 16-18, who live in Houghton or Keweenaw Counties. Cash prizes of $1,000, $500 and $250 are offered.
